Recognizes that certain types of texts are associated with particular audiences and purposes. 4. Experiments with organizational patterns when writing. 5. Makes consistently informed attempts at spelling. 6. Experiments with different strategies for planning, revising, and editing own writing.
Fluent ( Initial) 1. Uses writing to reflect upon familiar ideas, events, and information. Fluent ( Developing) 1. Uses a variety of text types when writing about both familiar subjects
and exploring new ideas/knowledge.
